The Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ Daily Prayers (10)

Daily Prayers:Journey Prayer

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray for the person embarking on a journey in the following way:

“May God provide you with piety as your provision, forgive your sins, and facilitate goodness for you wherever you may be.”

May God make piety your provision, forgive your sins, and direct goodness towards you in whatever direction you turn.”

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would see the place he was heading to or upon reaching there, he used to supplicate:

“O God! I seek goodness from You for this place and the goodness of what is gathered here. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this place and the evil of what is gathered here.

O God! Bless us with the abundance of this place, protect us from its diseases, make its inhabitants love us, and make us love the righteous among them. O God! Bestow blessings upon this place for us.”
