The Prophet Muhammad’s Daily Prayers-2

0 650

When the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted to seek forgiveness,

He would perform a two-unit Prayer and request forgiveness as follows:

O God! I repent to You for this (sin), and I will never return to this sin again for all eternity.

O God! Your forgiveness is broader than my sins, and Your mercy is more a source of hope for me than my actions. (3 times).

When the wind blows, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) turns towards the wind, kneels, opens his hands, and then prays as follows

O God! I seek the goodness of this wind from You, the goodness it contains, and the goodness sent with it. I seek refuge in You from its harm, the harm it contains, and the harm sent with it.

O God! Make it a blessed wind, not a harmful one. O God! Bring mercy, not punishment.

If darkness accompanies the wind, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) recites Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas and prays as follows:

O God! I seek the goodness of this wind from You, the goodness it contains, and the goodness commanded to it.

I seek refuge in You from the evil of this wind, the evil it contains, and the evil commanded to it.

O God! Let it be a windy rain, not without rain.
