Prayer after eating
Prayer after eating, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say the following prayers:
-ﺍَﻟْﺤَﻤْﺪُ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﺃَﻃْﻌَﻤَﻨِﻲ ﻫٰﺬَﺍ ﻭَﺭَﺯَﻗَﻨِﻴﻪِ ﻣِﻦْ ﻏَﻴْﺮِ ﺣَﻮْﻝٍ ﻣِﻨِّﻲ ﻭَﻻَ ﻗُﻮَّﺓٍ
-ﺍَﻟْﺤَﻤْﺪُ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ ﺣَﻤْﺪﺍً ﻛَﺜِﻴﺮﺍً ﻃَﻴِّﺒﺎً ﻣُﺒَﺎﺭَﻛﺎً ﻓِﻴﻪِ ﻏَﻴْﺮَ ﻣَﻜْﻔِﻲٍّ ﻭَﻻَ ﻣُﻮَﺩَّﻉٍ ﻭَﻻَ ﻣُﺴْﺘَﻐْﻨﻰً ﻋَﻨْﻪُ ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ
-ﺍَﻟْﺤَﻤْﺪُ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﺃَﻃْﻌَﻤَﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺳَﻘَﺎﻧَﺎ ﻭَﺟَﻌَﻠَﻨَﺎ ﻣُﺴْﻠِﻤِﻴﻦَ
“All praise is due to God, who has fed me this and provided it as sustenance without any strength or power on my part.”
“All praise is due to God, abundant, pure, and blessed praise, which is not limited, nor can be abandoned, nor is it self-sufficient. Our Lord, praise be to You.”
“All praise is due to God, who has fed us, given us drink, and made us Muslims.”
Supplication Before Relieving himself
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the following supplication before relieving himself:
“ﺍﻟﻠَّﻬُﻢَّ ﺇﻧﻲ ﺃﻋﻮﺫُ ﺑﻚ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟﺨُﺒﺚِ ﻭﺍﻟﺨﺒﺎﺋِﺚِ”
“O God, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils who are impure.”
After relieving himself, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say the following supplication:
“ﻏُﻔْﺮَﺍﻧَﻚَ، ﺍَﻟْﺤَﻤْﺪُ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﺃَﺫْﻫَﺐَ ﻋَﻨِّﻲ ﺍﻷَْﺫَﻯ ﻭَﻋَﺎﻓَﺎﻧِﻲ”
“I seek Your forgiveness. All praise is due to God, who has removed harm from me and granted me well-being.”
