Prayers to those who are Worried
When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was worried (due to either calamities or bad evets) he would to read the following prayer:
There is no God to be worthy of worship but Allah who has magnificence and mildness. There is no God to be worthy of worship but Allah who is the owner of the grand throne.
There is no God but Allah who is the Lord of the Heavens, the Lord of the world, and the Lord of that throne and, then the Lord of the enormous reign.
There is no God but Allah who is al Haleem (the most Forbearing) and al Kareem (the most Generous).
There is no God but Allah who is the owner of the grand throne.
There is no God but Allah who is the Lord of the heavens, Lord of the world and the Lord of the Kareem throne.
Allah is sufficient for us, and he is the best guardian. God is sufficient for me, and he is the best guardian.
There is no God but Allah who is al Haleem (the most Forbearing) and al Kareem (the most Generous).
All-Glorified is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the supreme Throne,19 (exalted) above all that they attribute (to Him in ignorance and falsehood).1
Praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. God, I seek refuge in you from the evil of your servants. Allah is sufficient for us, and he is the best guardian. God is sufficient for me, and he is the best guardian.
Ya Allah! God is my Lord, and I do not associate anything with him.
Ya Allah! God is my Lord, and I do not associate anything with him.
I put my trust in Allah , The Living, who does not die.
‘Praise be to Allah, who has not taken a son, nor has he a partner in the Kingdom, nor has he been helpless, nor has he any helper.’
Allah, I hope for your mercy, so do not leave me alone with my soul in the blink of an eye, and fix my affairs. There is no god besides you. Hayy or Kayyum, I beg your mercy for your help.
He would usually recite this prayer in prostration during salah, and recommend his followers to do the same.
Another prayer he would recite is as follows:
Hayy or Kayyum. ‘There is no god besides you. I glorify you.I have been one of the wrongdoers.’
Allah, I am your servant, the son of a man and a woman from your servants, and my forelock is in your hand. Your judgment on me is in effect, and your judgment on me is fair. For every name from you that you name, that you send down in your book, that you teach one of your creatures, or that you assign to yourself in the knowledge of the unseen…
..I wish you to make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my eyes, the reliever of my sorrow, my grief and my worry. Power is only in Allah’s hands.2
